The Heirs Life Essay Championship is a yearly essay contest that Heirs Life sponsors to recognize young students’ inventiveness while promoting reading.

Students at Junior Secondary Schools around Nigeria are eligible to enter this year’s competition for a chance to earn scholarships worth N2,000,000, exciting gifts for the winning school, and additional prizes for the runners-up.

Benefits

  • The scholar who wins receives a scholarship worth N2,000,000.

  • The 2023 Heirs Life Essay Championship cup and a N500,000 grant to the school library will be given to the winner school.

  • A cash award of N150,000 will be given to the first runner-up (student).

  • A cash prize of N100,000 will be given to the student who placed second.

Application Method

  • Sign up for the contest.

  • Essay (no longer than 500 words) to upload.

  • Typescript in Word/PDF format is the document format.

  • The Times New Roman font style.
