The Wonder Programme intends to increase the ability of 150 female business owners through training over the course of three years in order to increase business efficiency and growth.

By providing them with the tools, information, and skills they need to refocus and optimise their enterprises for expansion, this will be accomplished.
The WONDER investor readiness and business development accelerator programme aims to establish 30 legally binding women-led businesses with particular attention to their innovative potential as well as their long-term social and environmental viability.
The project’s impact will be shown through a novel strategy to increase the access of African businesses to capital, as well as through the provision of services and training that combine business acceleration with skill development.
The African Development Bank provided funding for the WONDER programme under the Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa (AFAWA) initiative, which was executed in Kenya and Cameroon.

Application Requirements
Women-run businesses or companies having a majority of female shareholders
Preference for businesses with female CEOs and COOs
Where there is a board of directors, there should be at least 50% women on it.
Enterprise should be able to handle loans between $5,000 and $1,000,000 in size.
Between 5 and 300 people work for Enterprise, with at least 50% of them being women.
Between $100,000 and $15,000,000 in annual sales
The company needs to be registered in Kenya.
