Regarding the role

  • Burn is seeking a Junior Electrical Technician who will be instrumental in identifying, resolving, and fixing typical electrical problems in our products.

  • Under the direction of the lead electrical technician, they help with basic experimentation, equipment assembly, testing, and maintenance.

responsibilities and obligations

  • aid in the identification, investigation, and resolution of frequent product electrical problems.

  • according to the lead electrical technician’s instructions, assist with fundamental experiment duties.

  • As directed by the lead electrical technician, assist in assembling, assessing, testing, and maintaining electronic appliances.

  • receiving damaged electrical equipment from the field (such as EPC and Induction cookers), working with the customer service contact person.

  • Help customer support by assisting with field repairs and remote unit diagnosis.

  • Maintaining engineering fixtures and tools in optimum functioning order.

  • Assist with maintaining an inventory of workshop/lab supplies, including engineering consumables and replacement components for electrical goods.

  • As directed by the lead electrical technician, assist in conducting diagnostic tests and any other related tests required to support product knowledge.

  • Update and maintain failure & repair records for warranties.

  • Make sure reworked units are sent out and update any pertinent paperwork.

  • By adhering to safety standards, protocols, and recommendations, make sure the workstation is tidy and secure.

  • help with any additional tasks that the lead electrical technician requests.

Experience and Knowledge

  • prior knowledge of high- and low-voltage device maintenance.

  • knowledge of fundamental test instruments.

  • knowledge of electronic problem diagnosis.

  • Must be competent to perform their duties with little direction.

  • an engineering degree in electrical and electronics.

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook expert
