Terms of ReferenceEducation: Graduate degree (equivalent of a Master’s) or equivalent in International Development, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Policy, Economics, Statistics or related field.Experience: • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in coordinating and building evidence-based operational and multi-actors partnerships.• Operational experience with UNHCR and/or WFP preferred.• Experience of working in refugee/displacement context, particularly in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is desirable.• Prior work experience in refugee or IDP settings preferable.• Experience with quantitative methods and data analysis preferred. Proven experience in multi-variate analysis an advantage.• Solid balance between quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.• Practical field experience of conducting food security, protection and basic needs assessments.• Demonstrated ability to present analytical findings and to communicate effectively.Knowledge & Skills: • Good understanding of food security and protection considerations for forcibly displaced populations.• Experience with self-reliance programming and inclusion pathways, including social protection.• Experience of programme cycle management, design and implementation.• Experience working in dynamic and innovative environments.• Willingness to travel extensively to provide in-country support.• Competencies: Cognitive Capacity, Teamwork, Action Management, Partnering, Client Orientation, Innovation and Creativity, Technological Awareness, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Planning and Organizing, Political Awareness, Stakeholder Management.Languages: • Fluency in English (proficiency/level C) required, working knowledge of Arabic is desirable
