Africa Edition of the Online International Anti-Corruption Winter School 2023

The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) are collaborating to host the Online International Anti-Corruption Winter School – Africa Edition 2023.

The course will take place from December 4 through December 8, 2023, and will only be administered and presented in English (no translation nor interpretation will be offered).

Eligibility

  • Students and young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who were born between December 8, 1994, and December 8, 2005 are the target group.

  • They come from Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania,

Admission Requirements

  • IACA and UNODC will handle admissions based on factors such the target audience, the eligibility of the applicants for the training, the level of English proficiency, and gender balance.

  • IACA has the right to ask applicants for more details or supporting evidence and to invite them to a quick phone or online interview.

  • Each candidate will be informed of the outcome of their admission.

  • The training will be offered to selected applicants via email, and they are required to reply with their acceptance by the specified timeframe and communication method.

  • The seminar is free to attend, but there may be more applications than there are places available. Please remember that before committing to this opportunity, it must be carefully studied. For this reason, IACA maintains the right to refuse any future applications for scholarships it may provide to participants in its trainings in the event of non-participation or partial participation.
